Eligibility Criteria

• Must not be receiving income from another source that exceeds 75% of the GUPRS stipend rate for general living costs.
• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with First Class Honours (Class I) or equivalent qualification.
• Must not have completed a degree at the same or higher level as the HDR program to which they are applying.
• Must not have completed more than 12 months (full-time equivalent) of candidature in the HDR program.
• Must not have previously held the same or an equivalent scholarship unless terminated under specific conditions.
• Must not have held a Commonwealth Government Australia Award scholarship in the two years prior unless approved by the relevant authorities.
